Non-Foaming Shampoo? What gives??

by Jeffery Kufalk August 17, 2016

When it comes to washing hair, you're probably used to that massive head of foam and "squeaky clean" hair at the end of it.  What if you could wash your hair without the foam, and what is that foam doing anyhow?

Did you know, that foam in commercial shampoo is created by generally 4-8 different chemicals and sulfates?  These sulfates and chemical surfactants "clean" your hair by altering the surface tension of the water on the hair itself.  This action allows water to slide beneath oils and lift them off of the surface, washing them away.  The problem with removing oils is creating a stopping point.  Chemical sulfates and harsh surfactants found in most shampoos tend to pull EVERYTHING out of your hair and scalp, and that is not a good thing.

Organic Sapindus Berries from Nepal

ManeLine Shampoo Alternative uses all natural ingredients including hard-working Sapindus Berries which are processed in-house to extract the gentle cleansers from them.  The result is a foam that is non-existent when used, yet a light, natural surfactant action working hard to clean hair of contaminants, leaving enough natural oils behind to nourish hair, maintaining health, strength, body and style while controlling dandruff, dryness and breakage.

Check out the video below to see how ManeLine Shampoo Alternative stacks up against  commercial shampoo in foaming.
